We are in need of volunteers to help with administrative projects in the following areas:
Assisting with the referrals process
- Call patients to verify insurance information, change PCP on insurance plan, or schedule appointments with specialty offices
- Add completed referrals to referral tracking list
- Organize and maintain completed referrals
- Close completed referrals in NextGen
In medical records
- Organize scanning documents
- Review and file new patient registration forms
- File insurance cards in NextGen
- Shred documents
- General office assistance (e.g. filing, scanning, shredding documents)
Requirements
- Must be able to provide proof of immunizations
- Volunteer roles do not include clinical duties or patient contact
